The Isolation Interviews - Francesca Hayward
Principal Ballet Dancer
Nairobi-born Francesca Hayward became a Principal Dancer for the Royal Ballet in 2016. She has danced in ballet classics Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, The Nutcracker and Coppelia amongst many others. She also danced in the film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats.
During her quarantine time at home she created the photographs featured here with photographer Tom Johnson via Face Time, capturing the movement and beauty of her dance. We look forward to seeing her on stage in the not so distant future again.
Here she shares some of her favourite films, books and comforts to help you rest and recharge.
