Born and raised in South Australia, a unicorn in the modelling world, Lily Nova made her fashion debut on the AW16 Gucci runway. She has been the face of Marc Jacobs Beauty, appeared in every Vogue there ever was, is the face of our editor in chief Leith Clark’s jewellery collaboration with Catbird (photographed by Julia Hetta), and well, a Miu Miu show wouldn’t be the same without her. When not in my pyjamas I find myself in a pair of equally comfy green pants and my Mums old cardigan. Coziness is the overall theme of our self isolation I think. Although when I do have to go to the grocery store I find myself overcompensating and dressing up extravagantly more and more. Essentially playing dress up. Face mask included of course.

Mint tea with a splash of soy milk sounds like it should be disgusting but I promise it'll make for a good nights sleep.
It feels good to be creative and even more so to create something. I'm currently writing a lot about womanhood, which is a bit heavy, but it feels cathartic.

I’m knitting a blanket! Knitting was the "cool thing" to do in school when I was 8 and I’ve never been more thankful for a skill in my life. It’s the perfect quarantine activity especially with Australia on the cusp of winter.
